ALTAR FLOWERS – The flowers that beautify the altar today are given to the glory and honor of our God by Daryl and Niki Yamaguchi in loving memory of Daryl’s father, James Yamaguchi.  God’s blessings!

SYMPATHY – We extend our condolences to Lorna Hatfield and her family at the loss of her beloved husband Lou Hatfield, who was called to his heavenly home last Thursday in Fawnskin.  Sympathy cards may be set to Lorna at P.O. Box 188, Fawnskin, CA 92333.  A memorial service is still pending as we keep the family in our thoughts and prayers.  Jesus says, “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on; they will rest from their labors, for their deeds will follow them.” (Revelation 14:13)

ADULT BIBLE CLASS – Today the class will continue with the study of the lesson titled “The Kings Last Acts!” based on St. John 12:1-50.  Everyone is encouraged to join us for the fellowship and the study of  the Word of God.

EASTER LILIES – We want to thank Donna and Roger LaVoire for ordering the beautiful lilies that adorn the altar and the sanctuary today, as we celebrate with joy, praise, and thanksgiving the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.  the men said to the women, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen.”

THE WOMEN – In the Gospel of St. Luke, one of he most notable features is that it has the most women at the empty tomb, “Now it was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them” (Luke 24:10)  Three are named but others are not.  At least five are present on the scene at the empty tomb and “who told these things to the apostles.” (Luke 24:10b)

ALTAR FLOWERS – The flowers that beautify the altar today are given to the glory and honor of God by Ann Beilby for the blessings God has bestowed upon her and her family.  “Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.”  (Psalm 106:1)

CONGRATULATIONS – Today we want to acknowledge and honor Virginia Turner as she celebrates tomorrow her 90th birthday with her family, friends, and neighbors.  “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”  (Psalm 118:24)
