Tracy Marker and Sharon Teeter, Editors
We here at Shepherd in the Pines wish to thank the Elders, and the Deaconesses for all their work that they give to the congregation.
FROM THE BOARD:
Social Ministry serves you the wonderful people of S.I.T.P. Cards, plants, and flowers are sent to those who are ill, recovering from surgery, or if a loved one who has died.
Meals are coordinated and deliveries for those who have had surgery.
The Food Bank falls under Social Ministry and is there first for our members in need. Thank you to all of you who have given to this ministry. Any questions contact Cyndi.
Cyndi would like to thank all those who provided dinners for Debbie and Denis. The meals were greatly appreciated.
This month’s child is Kaleb
Kaleb is five years old and attends Smiley School in Redlands. He is in Kindergarten. He enjoys school and is learning to read.
He loves cars and motorcycles like his Papa.
Kaleb now enjoys Sunday School with his new friends Samuel and Cody. He loves being a part of our Big Bear Family here at S.I.T.P.
If anyone wishes to submit a Christian joke for our monthly newsletter, please feel free to contract either Tracy or Sharon T. Thanks.
This year’s Progressive Dinner was held on October 23rd from 5 PM. It started with Howard and Judy, who volunteered the Salads and Appetizers , and then the group went to Raejean’s for the Main Dish, and then on to George and Bev’s for the desserts. All those who attended this event had lots of fun and enjoyed themselves.

You may also donate money to Helping Hands. Please use the envelopes marked “Helping Hands” in the pews, and put your envelope number and your name on the outside of the envelope and place it in the offering basket. Thank you for your generosity.
We want to specially thank all those who gave towards the Altar Flowers this year.
