CONGRATULATIONS – Pastor Elroi Reimnitz celebrated his 45th Ordination Anniversary into the Holy Ministry last Monday, June 1, 2020. The Service of Ordination was celebrated at Our Savior’s First Lutheran Church in Granada Hills, California on June 1, 1975. His father, The Rev. Dr. Elmer Reimnitz served as the officiant followed by a reception.
APPRECIATION – We want to thank everyone for their generous and sacrificial giving to the Lord during March 15th through May 30th during the lock down of our church. A total of $16,792.00 was given to the Lord to keep our church in operation. The words of St. Paul, “God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7b)

MEMORIAL SERVICE – Dr. Virginia Doland, Emeritus Professor of English at Biola University from 1963 to 2005, died peacefully at home on January 17. The memorial service will be held at Anaheim Christian Reformed Church on Saturday, February 15 11:00 a.m. Dr. Doland was a former member of Shepherd In The Pines Lutheran Church and will always be remembered as the donor in the 1980’s of the two stained glass windows located in the narthex of our church: The Cross; and, Mary and the Baby Jesus.
CONTEST – The 83rd Annual Lions Student Contest will be held on Thursday, February 13th, at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Christian Church in Big Bear Lake. The topic: “Homelessness in California: What is the Solution?” Any questions, contact Rich Mumm at 909-281-4944.
