WELCOME – Good morning and welcome in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If you are a guest or visitor, please sign the RED BOOK located in your pew. If you believe in the real presence of the true body and true blood of our Lord Jesus Christ in the Lord’s Supper, you are welcome to attend the Holy Sacrament today. ALTAR FLOWERS – The flowers that beautify the altar today are given to glory and honor of God by Russell & Sharon Teeter on the occasion of their 41st wedding Anniversary.  Congratulations and God’s richest blessings!

PROMOTION – Gunner Seaman has completed Kindergarten and will be attending the 1st grade at the Elementary School in Big Bear Lake. Congratulations!

THURSDAY BIBLE CLASS – The adult Bible class will not be held next Thursday due to the Vacation Bible School and the Pacific Southwest District Convention.  The class will resume again on the following Thursday, July 5th at 11:00 a.m.

VOTERS’ ASSEMBLY – The annual meeting of the voters’ assembly has been scheduled for next Sunday, July 1 at 11:30 a.m.  The voters will be asked to consider and approve a new budget for 2018-19.  Mark this date on your calendar!

INSTALLATION – The following VBS volunteers will be installed during the service: Cory Seaman & Barbara Carter, Bible Study; Jennifer Seaman & Niki Yamaguchi, Crafts; Jamie Allen & Payden Seaman, Games; Janice Calabrese & Rylee Seaman, Music; Donna LaVoire, Virginia Turner & Ursela Jimison, Snacks; Sarah Hoefer & Grace Seaman, Pre-K; Raejean Danielson, Barbara Carter, Sarah Hoefer & Rylee Seaman, Registration; Leoma Smith, Sunday School Superintendent; Ruth Reimnitz, VBS Director; Pastor Reimnitz, Sam the Shepherd & Janice Calabrese, Opening & Closing Devotions.

VBS REGISTRATION – It is time to register your children. Forms are available after the worship service today. Vacation Bible School begins tomorrow and ends on Friday of this week and will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The theme is titled, “Splash Canyon: God’s promise on Life’s Wild Ride.” Any questions, call Ruth Reimnitz at 909-547-0934.

THANK YOU – We want to say thank you again to everyone who donated and purchased baking goods on Sunday, June 10th to help defray the cost and expenses for the 2018 Vacation Bible School. The bake sale raised a total of $363.50.

DISTRICT CONVENTION – The 45th Pacific Southwest District Convention of The LCMS will be held next week from Wednesday through Friday (June 27-29) at The Hotel at Jamboree Center, Irvine. The theme: “Rejoicing with the Nations” (Revelation 7:9-10). Pastor Elroi Reimnitz will be serving as the pastoral delegate and Beverly Grabe as the lay delegate from our congregation. Pastor Reimnitz has also been nominated by the Pacific Southwest District Nominating Committee as a candidate to the Board of Regents of Concordia University Irvine (CUI).

VACATION – Pastor Elroi and Ruth Reimnitz will be on vacation during two weeks from July 9th through July 23rd.  In case of emergency, please contact one of the members of the Board of Elders.

PORTALS OF PRAYER – The new copies of the daily personal devotions from July 1 through September 30, 2018 are available today in the narthex. Take a copy with you for you and your family.

FLOWER CALENDAR – The flower calendar for 2018 is available in the narthex. There are still several open dates. Please sign-up after the worship service today.
