YOUTH CORNER:
This month’s Child is Hannah.
I’m Hannah, I am 13 years old. My favorite color is purple, & I love music. I am a dancer, I have been dancing for 3 years, but I danced when I was younger as well. I have a very committed time schedule to dance. When I’m not dancing I am usually with my best friend, Bree, or with my family.
When I grow up I intend to go to college, maybe even a dance college. I hope to further my career in dance, but other than dancing I want to study photography.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
HIGH AND LOW COMMUNION SERVICES:
There are three High Communion Services, and one Low Communion Service each week.
A. High Communion Service at 9 AM on Wednesdays
B. Low Communion Service at 10 AM on Thursdays
C. High Communion Service at 12 Noon on Fridays
D. High Communion Service at 9 AM on Saturdays
E. Regular Worship Service at 9 AM on Sundays
BIBLE STUDIES:
There are 2 Bible Studies that we offer to all members. The Wednesday Bible Study start at 11 AM which is being held at Nottinghams. There is another Bible Study on Sunday mornings after Fellowship. All are welcome to attend these classes.
THE CHRISTIAN SYNAGOGUE SERVICES:
We also have two Christian Synagogue Services which are held on the first Friday evening of each month from 6 to 8 PM, which includes a study, and a meal, and we also have the Christian Synagogue Service which is held at 10 AM to 12 Noon. All are welcome to attend these classes.
VOTERS MEETING:
On Sunday, March 13, 2011 there will be a Voter’s Meeting after Fellowship. All are encouraged to attend.

A SPECIAL THANK YOU:
A Special Thank you, go out to all our Acolytes who have served at our services on Sundays. All school aged children are urged to participate in this worthwhile activity serving the Lord and beautifying the worship services.
THE WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY:
On every Tuesday of the month there is a Women’s Bible Study. The class starts at 11 AM. Please see Sharon for information about the class, and for a study guide.
YOUTH LEADERSHIP TRAINING:
On Thursday afternoons at 2 PM our children who are of school age are invited to attend the Youth Leadership Training classes. A snack is served before the class starts.
THE FLOWER CHART:
The Flower Chart has many openings on for anyone who would want to sign up. If you have a special occasion, Birthday, Wedding Anniversary please feel free to sign up on your special day. The Flower Chart is located in the Narthex.
HELPING HANDS:
At Shepherd in the Pines this is very important. We are in need of more food items. You may bring food and leave it in the narthex or if you need food please talk to Pastor or an Elder. You may also donate money to Helping Hands by using the yellow envelopes in the pews.
FELLOWSHIP:
Many thanks go to our ladies who do Fellowship for us. They are greatly appreciated.
AMERICAN HEROES:
If anyone has any names, and photos of those serving our country in uniform, (Military, Fire, Police). Please get the information to Bev so she can post it on the board.

FUTURE EVENTS:
ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE AND SOUP SUPPER:
On Wednesday, March 9th there will be our Annual Ash Wednesday Service and Soup Supper starting at 6:30 PM for the service, and 7 PM for the Soup Supper. Please mark your calendars of these two events, and we want to encourage all to attend.
EASTER EGG HUNT:
On Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 11 AM there will be our Annual Easter Egg Hunt for the children of Big Bear. Donations of candy will be appreciated. Donations and volunteers are needed. Please bring pre-wrapped candy only and at least 20 volunteers are needed for registration and supervision.
On Saturday, April 23, 2011at 11 AM there will be an Easter Egg Hunt. Registration will begin at 10:30 AM. Children who participate must be 12 years old or younger in order to participate in the Easter Egg Hunt.
EASTER POTLUCK DINNER:
On Sunday, April 24, 2011 there will be an Easter Potluck Dinner after church. There will be more information in the bulletin and newsletter in the future about this event.
